Elderly people are gradually leaving Druzhkovka

Buses with elderly people who need safety and tranquility leave the Druzhkov community every day. Today, six more residents of the older generation have received a chance for a new life away from constant shelling. Four of them are wards of the Tercenter.

An individual route is selected for each person. The two set off in the morning together with volunteers from the Vostok SOS charitable Foundation. One resident will remain in Lozova in a place of compact residence, the other will first receive temporary shelter in Dnipro, in the Center for Social Adaptation for People with Disabilities of the NGO “Ocean of Goodness”. In the future, she will be transferred to a boarding house in Khmelnitsky, where conditions have been created for a decent life, constant supervision and proper care.

The next group set off with the assistance of volunteers from the Revival of Faith NGO. Their new shelter will be the charity center of the charismatic Evangelical Church of Ukraine “new generation”, located in Ternovka. According to military chaplain Vadim Sisar, the conditions of stay provide not only a roof over your head, but also complete care — food, laundry, and round-the-clock medical care and support.
